Boilermaker

Boilermakers make and install boilers and other large containers that house gases or liquids such as oil but they may work on projects as diverse as bridges to blast furnaces to the construction of mining equipment.

Carpentry

Carpenters construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Carpenters are involved in many different kinds of construction. Each carpentry task is somewhat different with the same basic steps.

Electricians read blueprints, which include technical diagrams of electrical systems that show the location of circuits, outlets, and other equipment. They use different types of hand and power tools, such as conduit benders to run and protect wiring.
